Sinigang na Hipon / Shrimp inwards Tamarind soup base Recipe
Hi everyone, here is again another favorite Filipino dish, Sinigang na Hipon. Perfect for the cold weather similar here inwards Minnesota.

Ingredients:
1 kg. Fresh Shrimp
85g Baby Spinach OR Kangkong leaves
1 & 1/2 L Water
3 Tomatoes [diced]
3 Onions [quartered]
1 tbsp. Salt
1 40g Tamarind Soup Base
Procedure:
1. Clean the shrimp and wash it thoroughly together with the tomatoes and spinach.
2. Cut the tomatoes and onions inwards quartered and set aside.
3. Heat the pot and pour inwards the 1 & 1/2 L of water. Put the tomatoes and onion and cook inwards medium heat.
4. After 15mins, add the shrimp and cover. Cook until all shrimp turns red. Avoid overcooking the shrimp.
5. Add the spinach and the tamarind powder. Cook for 2 mins to a greater extent than. Serve hot and enjoy!
